| Because FOX sucks |

I just watched my first Firefly episode with commentary. It was "War Stories" and Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion did the commentary. It was absolutely hysterical! They were joking with each other and doing funny voices and telling the silliest anecdotes... I was practically falling out of my chair. I bet my neighbors thought I was dying.
And they kept on going throughout the episode "I like this show.. why did it get canceled?" And my heart just breaks because this is honestly one of the best shows I have ever seen. It has such character and such heart and spunk that it is just SUCH a shame that it had to bleepin' air on that bleepin' network that can't keep a good show running. It's such an amazing idea and the cast and crew tell the story so well... Man, it's just such a shame.
I hate you Fox.
I miss you Firefly! |

I concur. lots. I keep telling myself I'll listen to the commentary, but I love the show so much that I don't want to miss one repeated moment of it by being distracted by the awesomeness that the commnentary would probably be. I should get over that...
I know what you mean about being hesitant to watch with the commentary for fear of missing stuff...What I did was watch the episode, then immediately watched it over again with the commentary. I think I laughed harder the second time around... you will absolutely love it. I haven't listened to the ones with Joss Whedon or the other producers, which I'm sure are more insightful than goofy. But I'm betting equally as wonderful. | |
